Congratulations ! I wish I could be there tonight.Love Kevin and Modern West since the 1rst cd,I bought it at Borders yrs ago when a TV news woman announced “Kevin Costner now has a band!”.Lucky me ,my favorite actor!Greetings from Puerto Rico!
Hi, I’m from England. I looked at your website a few months ago and discovered your music. I was astounded. I’ve watched your films since Dances with Wolves and enjoyed them all, but it was Open Range that really made me a huge fan. I’ve loved westerns all my life and that film was stunning. After watching a couple of your Modern West videos I was hooked and went straight to Amazon and bought all three albums and what a joy to hear all these great tracks. The Angels Came Down is a masterpiece, so moving. And I love Long Hot Night and Let Me Be The One, and I could go on and on. Superb.
Hey Teddy, I hope things are going well, I guess that could be an understatement! Patron still your drink of choice? Really miss your music and your live shows in those little night clubs across the southwest. My favorite show; when you played with the Pistolas and you all backed Lazy Lester at the Rhythm Room in Phoenix. I still remember you slinging that teal strat around the the stage. You are one bad guitar slinger, continued success.
Kevin, you have one bad hombre in your band, not a big fan of your music and I don’t mean that in a negative way it just doesn’t move me the way it speaks to others. Continued success and if you ever decide to add some high octane to the show invite that guitar slinger up front and let him do what he does best. You won’t be sorry and you’ll expand your fan base even further. Like you really need it. Great interview on Tavist and great remarks at the Whitney gathering. Peace, Love and Understanding! RJ
Dear Kevin en Modern West. I enjoy the music you make with so much love and joy. I wish I could be there to see you all playing. I respect that you want to be so close to the fans. I saw on You Tube a version of Devil’s a long way from home (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cGG5MNZJl3o) It is a acoustic version from this song and it touches me in my heart. So pure and beautiful with the different kind of voices…I love it. That’s what music is all about…touching the heart. I’m from Holland but if I get the chance to see you once, I will go for it. Thanks to Christine who encouraged you to do more with your music and thanks to you Kevin, for your movies, your view on the world (separate oil from water etc) and to be who you are. With love, Monique Plant Holland
